Kolakchal Mountain is one the nearest peaks in north of Tehran. The height of this mountain is 3341 meters. There are several ways to reach the peaks but the normal way is the best and safest way. There is a way in the south western of Kolakchal Shelter to some peaks like Espillet, Kolakchal and it’s an access way to north western strip of Tochal ridge.

It takes about 2 and half hours to Kolakchal peak from the shelter. The most important natural barrier in this access way is the valley that during the climbing is in the left side. There is no need to use ropes because the way is open to trek. But in the winter, crampon is needed. Piazchal valley is on the way at the height of 3000 meters. The access way in this area will be divided into two branches to the east and the west. Kolakchal peak will be accessible from the east way. It’s completely on the sight.
